Let's take a look at my brand new journal! This one is an A5 Tiefossi journal, and it's my first time trying a journal from this brand. I've been using Archer & Olive journals for the last few years but I saw this beautiful cover design and thought I would give it a try. It has white 160gsm dot grid paper. The dot grid is slightly different than the Archer & Olive journals that I've been using. It's the same number of dots across: 27, but down the page it has 38 dots instead of 39. It's essentially just missing the bottom row of dots, but it has page numbers instead. For anyone using an index in their bullet journal this could be a big plus. Personally I don't use an index right now, so I would rather just have a row of dots, but it's not a deal breaker. There are a whopping 256 pages, compared to the 192 pages I'm used to. I'm excited to see how many months I get out of this one. The journal has two ribbon bookmarks, a back pocket, an elastic closure, and an elastic pen holder. The edges of the pages are gilded, and I love the gold foil embossed cover design. I will say, I think I'm a little spoiled by the beautiful spine designs you find on some of the Archer & Olive books, and this Tiefossi one has a blank spine. But I'd say the full cover design more than makes up for it. If you want to see the journal in action, take a loot at my video below:
