When I was pregnant with my second, a friend told me not to expect all my plants to survive the newborn stage. I would be sleep deprived and also have a very demanding new housemate, and that would leave little to no time to worry about all my plantlings. I didn't have any plants when I was pregnant with my first, so I wasn't entirely sure what to expect. Now that my daughter is past the one year mark, I believe I am out of the woods in the realm of caretaking overwhelm. Therefore, my quote for the month was appropriately: "Almost all my plants are still alive". Plants became my theme for the whole month. Plant stickers, to be exact. This was my first real foray into purchasing journaling stickers, and I ended up with a whole bunch. I bought my stickers off of Amazon, and chose this set of 6 Rolls of Hanging Plant PET Stickers, as well as this 100 pc set of Green Plant Transparent Stickers. Both offered a lot of variety for a small amount of money. I still have a ton of stickers left over from both sets, but I feel like plants are a theme that will come back again and again in my journal so I don't mind the abundance. I also happened to finish a very plant based project this month, and figured I'd snap a few pictures of it with my journal. This is my greenhouse book nook that I got as a Christmas gift this past year. I had so much fun putting it together!
